HOW DO I CHARGE MY SPEAKER?

The simple answer is approximately 6 hours, however there is much more complexity to determine the exact runtime. Runtime on all Bluetooth audio devices is heavily dependent on several key variables: volume output, music selection, and ambient temperature. Manufacturers spec runtime with an approximation based on ideal conditions running at a volume level they determine as an approximate “normal” use.
Music with heavier bass/lower frequencies will require more power than music that is rich in the mid/high range. When speakers are over driven, you will notice decreased audio quality in a condition that is called “clipping.” Clipping will introduce additional inefficiencies in the system and reduce runtime further.
Lithium ion battery performance is very temperature dependent. In below freezing temperatures, a lithium ion battery capacity can drop by over fifty percent. On the contrary, temperatures under 120 degrees are not harmful to lithium ion batteries, but inefficiencies are introduced by semiconductor materials used in the amplifier circuit. We design our products to accept a wide range of temperatures, but there will always be a temperature dependency that can affect overall runtime in extreme conditions.
Volume output is the biggest factor in determining runtime. Runtime can be significantly increased at lower volume levels. Users should expect to see this type of behavior for a minimum of three-hundred charge cycles in ideal operating conditions.
