Gadget Junkies Camp Out For New iPhone

iPhone release

You can’t put a price on how cool you feel to be amongst the first people to get the new iPhone 4.  Gadget junkies in Burlingame and Palo Alto lined up around the block to jockey for position in the coveted iPhone line.  Generally speaking, everyone was pretty laid back, but the difference between Burlingame gadget junkies to the Palo Alto core scenesters was stark.

In Burlingame, most people just brought fold up chairs and blankets and claimed their territory.  In Palo Alto, it was an entirely different event.  The line was about twice as long with just over 200 people by 1AM.  This crowd came prepared with generators, large flat screen TVs, couches tethered Wi-Fi, laptops, and pretty much everything to make a gadget junkie feel right at home.

The new iPhone 4 features a number of several super sleek additions that leverage 3 years of experience making the most revolutionary phone since ever.  It includes a new super high resolution screen protected by an ultra durable glass ripped from helicopter windshields.  The outer casing is wrapped with a stainless steel band as well.  That helps quite a bit for the average user that drops their iPhone 3 times a week.  The new iPhone includes multi-touch input, dual microphones, a new front view camera, zoom, and much more.

We just hope it was worth it.

SB1 has been pumping copper

Hitting the lab has paid off for this next run of the SB1.  While some of you have been working on that bikini body, the new SB1 (set for an estimated release on June 30th) will have several new features that make him stronger than ever…. while still maintaining those dashing good looks.

Let’s break it down…
For your understanding, we will use two languages: Geek and English.  Below is  a list of all the improvements we’ve made on the SB1 from the original pilot production.  While the changes are subtle and go unnoticed to the naked eye, they show our relentless commitment to meticulous attention to detail and progression.

1.  Created a overcharge battery protection circuit that cuts off input current at 4.2V (Now you can leave your SB1 on the charger for as long as you’d like without damaging the battery.)

2.  Dual layered PCB design with high strength soldering joints (This makes the SB1 more resilient to crashing for the extreme lifestyle.)

3.  High Strength Steel clip material (Now your SB1 can withstand any level of hip gyrating motion and stay safely attached).

4.  Higher threshold internal components (The new SB1 can withstand just a tad more slammin’ beats than before)

That being said, if you have any suggestions to make the next SB1 (or SB2) better than before, please let us know.  In the mean time, we are offering a $10 discount to anyone that
